Books Worth Your Time: The Organised Mind: Thinking Straight In The Age of Information Overload by Daniel Levitin

Ok, so this book isn't out yet but it's on pre-order because it looks fascinating and just what I need to do what I'm determined to do in 2015 - be more focused, more productive, more calm. It's a big part of what this blog is about - the need to find that thread of clarity amongst the chaos that the busyness of our lives creates - and the book's author is a psychologist and neuroscientist with serious academic credentials to back up his thinking.

Praise for the book includes the following from Nadine Kaslow, President of the American Psychology Association:

“Fascinating… Combing neuroscience and cognitive psychology, the Organized Mind underscores the critical importance of individuals taking charge of their own attentional and memory systems so they can lead optimally productive and satisfying lives. Invaluable insights are offered with regard to organizing our homes, social world, time, decision-making, and business world.”

Sounds right up the street of any Dualista... I'll be back with a review when I've read it.
